Memorial Day is starting off with rain, which has put a damper on some local parades and festivities. Here's the latest info.

The Middletown Memorial Day parade is canceled. There will be a ceremony at the American Legion Post 151, 185 Wawayanda Avenue, Middletown NY at 11:00AM.

The Village of Millbrook has canceled their parade. A ceremony will now take place at 11am at the High School auditorium.

The Village of Suffern has canceled their parade due to the rain. The memorial service will now take place at 11:00am at the American Legion.

The Village of Maybrook Memorial Day Parade has been canceled. A Memorial Day Service will be held at the Frederick Myers Memorial Monument located in the Frederick Myers Veterans Memorial Park beginning at 9 am.

The White Plains Memorial Day parade is canceled for Monday. Instead, a Memorial Day ceremony will be held in the Common Council Chamber in City Hall at 10:00 a.m.

As of this morning other parades in the Village of Montgomery and Fishkill were still on as scheduled. Also, Dutchess County's largest parade in Hyde Park is still happening, but the lineup time has changed.
