Here's a Throwback Thursday story for you... Remember the time the Mid Hudson Bridge became a musical instrument?  Back in 2007 composer Joseph Bertolozzi recorded noises made by banging tools on the Mid Hudson Bridge and later edited them together to compose a full orchestration.  It made national headlines and became the subject of this NY Times video:

You can still hear the entire orchestration of music harvested from the bridge year-round.  Just head over to either side of the bridge and set your radio to 95.3FM. There are low power transmitters broadcasting and endless loop of the bridge music at Waryas Park in Poughkeepsie and Johnson-Iorio park in Highland.
