Middletown Couple Arrested for Grand Larceny

According to New York State Police a former Middletown couple has been arrested for Grand Larceny after allegedly steeling more than $85,000 from two Hardware Stores in the Hudson Valley.

Hudson Valley News Network reports the couple, Lawrence and Nadine Sienko were arrested after a nearly two year investigation into the thefts which allegedly occurred between 2011-2013 while the couple worked at the Goshen Hardware in the Village of Goshen and Ayres and Galloway Hardware in the City of Middletown, NY.

The couple was arrested after being located in Summerville, South Carolina where they now reside. The Sienko's have been charged with two counts of Grand Larceny 2nd each, 1 count of Grand Larceny 2nd each, with Nadine Sienko additionally charged with 43 counts of Falsifying Business Records in the 1st degree.
