You Are Invited To Mini of Dutchess Opening Party

Things changed when I bought my Mini Cooper. It was July 13, 2007, a Friday. Ah, I remember it like it was yesterday. Astro Black Metalic(a) Cooper S, with the 6-speed manual transmission.

As a car enthusiast I was thrilled that Mini was in the area and I could finally go and test drive one. I don't think I was surprised when I fell in love with mine as it was only a matter of time to do the lease paperwork and then drive it home. Many of you know the story, I sadly turned in my lease, three years later, then spent the next few months looking for a car that I loved driving as much as my Mini. It was when a friend of mine said to me, "You are never going to be as happy as you were with that car. You should just get your car back". She might have been joking, but it made me think. A few minutes on a computer and I found the exact same car, in Pocatello, Idaho. Then a few phone calls and I was once again the owner and My Mini was on a car carrier working its way back to the east coast.

My relationship with the brand Mini is a unique one. One that started a few years ago with the Prestige Family of Dealerships at their Mahwah location, and then on to Ramsey when they built that facility. Steve Ackerman was my original Motoring Advisor and then when he left, Dean Mulligan. My Service Advisor for many years, Rick Torres. All of these great people understand that the Mini brand is not just a car, it is something else entirely.

Fast forward to "today" when there is a brand new state of the art dealership in Dutchess County, Mini of Dutchess County. To fully understand what is so different about the Mini brand, you will need to stop by and check it out for yourself.
