Miss Piggy Honored; She Says She’s Not Surprised

Miss Piggy is being recognized for her accomplishments.  She received a Sackler Center First Award in New York City Thursday June 4th for her contributions to society as an extraordinary woman.  The president of the center says Miss Piggy has grit and determination, and has taught generations of fans important lessons about overcoming obstacles. Miss Piggy had the following to say, via press release:

 “Moi is thrilled -- but frankly, not surprised to be receiving this Sackler Center First Award. It is truly wonderful to be celebrated and share this honor with fellow legends, role models and pioneers of female fabulosity. We rock!”
