Morello’s Top Weekend Movie 1-24
Happy Friday! It's cold outside as it has been the past few days and as it will be for the next few. I'd say it's a good time to go out and catch a movie.
Each week I try and figure out which movie will be the top money maker in the box office and for a while I was doing alright. The past month or so, however, I've been off. So, if all of you could go an see the movie I pick to be top this weekend, that would be great. It would make me feel better.
To make this more difficult for me, there are only two movies coming out in wide release today: I, Frankenstein and Gimmie Shelter. Last week the top was the Mark Wahlberg movie that has been out for a few weeks, Lone Survivor.
I, Frankenstein stars Aaron Eckhart (a.k.a. Harvey Dent) and comes from the creators of Underworld. Basically, the guy is immortal and there are demons and gargoyles fighting for power, it seems silly to me. The other movie out today, Gimmie Shelter doesn't seem that exciting except that Vanessa Hudgens is in it and I like her. This one is based on the true events of a homeless pregnant teen. I'll just go right out and say that I don't think is one is a movie for me.
With little to no confidence in myself I'll say it here officially, I have no idea what movie to pick. I'm back and forth with this weeks I, Frankenstein and last weeks Lone Survivor. But, I'm going to go with the new movie I, Frankenstein because its the new one and because I like the Underworld movies. Anyone agree with me?
