Morello’s Top Weekend Movie 12/13

Friday the 13th! My favorite Friday and the fact that it's Friday makes it that much better.

Today a bunch of new movies come out and they all look pretty good. If there wasn't one particular movie out today, I feel like the rest would make more money and be more popular this weekend. Someone didn't think about that one too hard.

Movies out this weekend are: American Hustle, Saving Mr.Banks, Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas and of course The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Each movie will hit well with their target crowd this weekend and someone will be making a lot of money but, the movie that some people will be seeing multiple times this weekend will be The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. I know people who had tickets well in advance to see it last night at the midnight opening. Heck, even I'm going to see it later on (I know something I'm actually going to see the day it comes out, crazy!)

All four movies look like they're going to be good (especially that Disney one, Saving Mr.Banks) and I would like to see them all if I had time, but I think most people are like me and choose just one movie per weekend. So here it is, my official prediction: The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will be the number one in the box office this weekend.
