A man who was recently called “the most wanted man” in Ulster County was finally found and arrested.

Lashawn J. Brickhouse, 28, of Kingston was one of over 40 people that were arrested in October 2016 after numerous law enforcement officials wrapped a two-year investigation into drugs and weapons.

Brickhouse was wanted for criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy, all felonies.

On Tuesday around 2 a.m., patrol officers from the City of Kingston Police Department tried to talk a man on O’Neil Street in the City of Kingston.

The man is accused of fleeing on foot. After a short chase, the man later identified as Brickhouse, was arrested.

Brickhouse was charged with resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, two-counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, two-counts criminal sale of a controlled substance and two-counts of conspiracy.

Brickhouse was arraigned in the City of Kingston Court and was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash or $100,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to re-appear at the City of Kingston Court on a future date.
