Two bands on the bill for this summers Mountain Jam Festival at Hunter Mountain can now add Grammy-winner to their resume. While two artists on the bill in 2016 took home awards as well.

Portugal. The Man's win for 'Feel It Still' was not entirely unexpected given the massive crossover success of the song. They won over tracks from Imagine Dragons, Zedd, and The Chainsmokers/Coldplay. In the hunt too was that annoying track featuring Justin Bieber, 'Despacito'.

The War On Drugs, up against Metallica, Queens of the Stone Age and others, won for Best Rock album for A Deeper Understanding. Not sure anyone saw that coming, but if you've never given them a try, there just might be a reason they won. Both artists will perform prominent sets at Mountain Jam 2018.

Mountain Jam 2016 performers Alabama Shakes take home a Grammy for Best Roots Performance for 'Killer Diller Blues'. Jason Isbell wins for Best Americana Album and Best Roots Song.

Other notable wins include Best Alternative Album honors going to The National and their Sleep Well Beast album. Foo Fighters add another trophy to the shelf with the debut single from their latest release, 'Run'. Best dance recording goes to LCD Soundsystem for 'Tonite'.
