National No Bra Day?

October as many of you know is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Its a marketing campaign to increase awareness of breast cancer and you can see it being observed in many different situations. Even the male dominated sport of professional football observes October by dawning pink colors on the field of battle.

While the origins of National No Bra day are a mystery to me it does in fact exist. Every year on October 13th, that's this Friday by the way, it is observed. Women are encouraged to not wear a bra that day to promote awareness for breast cancer.

This is more to remind women to regularly give themselves an exam and have screenings with a doctor. You can observe National No Bra Day by making an appointment for a mammogram, making a donation to The American Cancer Society and by using social media hashtags #nationalnobraday or #nobraday.
