Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd has confirmed there will be both a new album and tour from the band in 2016. In a recent Alternative Nation interview, Boyd confirms a plethora of songs were written before their summer 2015 tour that were meant for the Trust Fall EP Side B. While the EP could still happen, the band is considering releasing a full length album instead.

When the idea came about for the Trust Fall EP, the band had no intention of recording an album. However, they were offered space in legendary producer Hans Zimmer's studio and jumped at the chance. At the time they had neither management or a record label, and weren't sure what to expect. The resulting burst in creativity is still paying dividends for the fans.

Before regrouping, Boyd released a solo album in September of 2013 called Sons of the Sea. The album features the single, 'Lady Black'.
