A new casino is about to hit the Hudson Valley in 2018, and now you'll be seeing it a little bit sooner than you thought.

After originally scheduling their grand opening for around March or April, Resorts World Catskills in Rock Hill is moving their date up to February 2018, according to Mid-Hudson News.

The reason for the move is the Lunar New Year. Executive Vice President Charles Degliomini says that much of the amenities they are building cater to the "Asian gaming market," and they didn't want to miss an opportunity to "surprise and delight" their guests by just two weeks.

Those amenities that Degliomini mentions include authentic Asian cuisine, a feng shui area, and games like Paigo and Baccarat. They also plan to have charter jet service from Asia to Stewart International Airport so that high stakes gamblers from the region can try their luck in the Catskills.
