I understand the dislike of the Mass Effect 3 ending. All that personal control, no real personal ending. It kinda stunk. That being said, the Mass Effect series is easily in my top 5 of gaming franchises of all time. I've played all 3 numerous times all the way through, and it feels like a brand new game every time I play it.

I'm glad to see EA isn't letting the ending of ME3 tarnish the brand. When I caught the new "Andromeda" trailer, some of the scenes shocked me with how good they looked. That one alien face they were constructing? It almost shocked me it was so life-like.

So far, everything I've seen from "Andromeda" is crazy promising. I like the idea of a fresh start. I love the idea of overhauling the ship and crew. What I'm worried about is that we get too tangled up in the beauty of the game and the story falls by the wayside.

Regardless, almost 1.7 million people have checked out the trailer since it dropped 2 days ago, and if EA funked this game up they might have an all out revolt on their hands.

Count me in as someone who is becoming more and more optimistic as we see more of the gameplay.
