We have so many great places to walk, bike and hike in the Hudson Valley and now you can add one that educates and fascinates as well.

Last weekend the community celebrated the grand opening of the Wappingers Falls Historic Trail. The new attraction which is an extension of the Wappinger Greenway Trail will take visitors on a historic journey through time.

The trail offers visitors more than 20 historical sites located along the pathway. Highlights include various buildings, churches and other architectural sites. If you'd like to check out the new addition the head of the trail is located right in the village at the Grinnell Library. No additional information on exactly how long the trail is was available but hey do what you can and if you can do more...just keep walking.

Enjoy!
