Watch for sheep walking all over the roads in Rhinebeck this weekend. What, they don't just randomly start walking on the sidewalks and into stores and restaurants? Ok, you got me, they don't. The sheep and their wool (and all of their travels) are going to be limited to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds this weekend.

The festival will be taking place over the two days, with hours on Saturday of 9AM to 5PM and on Sunday, 10AM to 5PM.  General admission tickets, at the gate, are $12 at the gate and a weekend pass will cost you $17 at the gate.

Not into knitting or spinning wool? Don't worry. There are so many other things for you to enjoy, including food demonstrations, samples of local wines and dozens of artisan crafters that can help you get all of your holiday shopping taken care of this weekend.

Plus, since it is the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, there will also be a few dozen food purveyors that you can purchase items to take away any thought of hunger that you might have.
