New York Venue Ranked Top 10 Nationwide by Forbes

We live in a great area for live concerts. From Hunter Mountain to The Chance, Bethel Woods to all the parks and open spaces along the Hudson River where events are held, the Hudson Valley has some excellent shows and places to see them.

However, according to Forbes Magazine, the one venue in New York State to rank in the top 10 nationwide is Jones Beach Theater.

There's a crazy great view, the breeze off the ocean keeps it pretty cool most of the time, and there is not a bad damn seat in the house. I've been to a few shows there, and I've never once been disappointed. Thankfully, there's a few shows going down this summer that you really don't want to miss. #1 on that list is Incubus/Deftones Aug. 5.

A few of those venues they listed are on my list of places to see a show in before I die. Gorge Amphitheater and Red Rocks are supposed to be amazing places to see a show.
