Hop lovers, rejoice, because there's a new IPA on the scene and it's made right here in the Empire State.

If you've followed even a few of my posts here on the website, you know that beer--specifically that which is brewed here in New York or more specifically the Hudson Valley region of our wonderful state--is one of the most important things to me.

So when I found out that one of the most interesting breweries around, Smart Beer, would be brewing an India Pale Ale, I knew I had to write about it.

Based in New Paltz, the brand hopes to promote a beer that is, according to them, "made from sustainable ingredients and a brand that support[s] social and environmental values."

They've already brewed a Golden Ale that's made its way all across the state of New York, but now they're adding this one to their portfolio. It's an organic beer that seeks to bring the hoppiness of an IPA while adhering to the standards expected of something sustainable and health-oriented.

I mean, it's beer. So, really, just worry about enjoying it.
