A shooting just outside the DMV in Newburgh has been caught on dash cam video. The video currently hosted on YouTube is unlisted so unless you have the specific link it's unavailable for viewing. According to the time stamp, the incident took place on May 18th just after 2pm.

The video starts with a red pickup truck pulling into frame and uneventfully turning on to Broadway. But then, it shows a dark Honda pulling up to a stop sign on Lander Street. The car stops at the sign and pulls forward on to Broadway but then stops. A lighter colored Acura quickly pulls up behind the Honda and a man gets out. He then appears to pull a fire arm and fires a single shot into the lead car. The Honda then speeds up and and takes a right onto Broadway.

It is not known at this time if there were any injuries or what the incident was in regards to. The license plate in the video is blurry so it's difficult to identify the car the suspect is driving.

The fact that something like this can happen in broad daylight just steps from the DMV is concerning. The Orange County Dristric Attorney's office and Probation Department are right across the street.
