After Liam Gallagher's band, Beady Eye, suddenly broke up back in October, it was hard to believe his older brother and former Oasis bandmate, Noel Gallagher, would care too much about it given their notorious sibling rivalry. Surprisingly, he recently expressed his genuine sadness for the situation in a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter.

"I'm very f---ing sad about Beady Eye because I know they really wanted to make it work,"  Gallagher said. "I’m amazed Liam has chucked it in, but he won’t stay out of the limelight for long... I think Liam should make a solo record – put his balls on the line, put his name up in lights and go for it." So far, Liam Gallagher has not announced any future plans.

The elder Gallagher, however, will be releasing the second full-length by his band Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds on March 2. Former Beady Eye guitarist and Oasis bassist Andy Bell has reunited with his legendary shoe gaze outfit, Ride, who are set to tour in 2015. Sadly, it doesn't seem like that leaves much room for a potential Oasis reunion anytime soon.
