Not A Game Episode #6: Guest Robert Silverman
We’re fortunate enough to live in an era of unprecedented sports coverage. Some of the most talented writers around are finding their voice covering sports they love.
One of my favorite writers–Robert Silverman–specializes in Knicks knowledge, writing some of the most insightful and entertaining pieces around. This article about Phil Jackson’s role with the Knicks and this one about that fascinating Lakers blowout the Knicks suffered recently are just two examples of really interesting writing.
He joined Joe and I today to talk about everything from sports journalism as an industry and having to deal with being unbiased while remaining a fan to what you can expect from the Knicks for the rest of this year and beyond. It’s broken into three parts, because we got so into the conversation it lasted an hour (!). The type of hour, though, that feels like 5 minutes because it’s so much fun.
