If you've ever dreamed of going to a vending machine and getting your weed, well, you have oddly specific dreams. But they're coming true.

Washington state has become a beacon for those who advocate the legalization of marijuana. And while it's still not 100% legal (federally, it's still against the law), and there are specific regulations (no smoking in public, only allowing you to own up to an ounce), here's a new development: weed vending machines!

According to a news release, the vending machines will be stocked by Seattle Caregivers and provide a "wide range of medicinal and recreational marijuana flowers, pot-infused edibles and merchandise." The temperature controlled vending machines are equipped with an advanced ID-scanner to verify a user's identity, age and additional data before dispensing selected items.

The convenience of having pot located where you buy your Snickers and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups seems extraordinary and so logical it's hard to believe this is just happening now.
