The first Presidential debate will be taking place next week, Monday September 26, 2016 and will be broadcast from 9PM to 10:30PM.

According to uspresidentialelectionnews.com, here is the key info for Monday nights debate:

Moderator: Lester Holt, Anchor, NBC Nightly News
Location: Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY

The first debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.

*Wright State University in Ohio has withdrawn from holding the First Presidential debate due to budget issues. Hofstra University will step in to host the first Clinton/Trump debate.

But the real question that will be asked on Monday? What are you drinking during the debate? Will there be a drinking game based on a particular word? As it gets closer to debate time, this information will also begin to materialize.

A beer that wants to be a part of the national debate conversation has been made on Long Island. It is from Blue Point Brewing. BPB made an ale based on a recipe allegedly belonged to George Washinton in 1757. As of right now, the beer will be available at their tap room on Long Island and limited release at Hofstra University the night of the debate.

What will you be drinking Monday during the debate? Will it be in a red Solo cup or a blue one?
