NY Giants lose to Jags. Well, that was ugly.
A loss by one point to the team that was tied for worst in the league. A fumble after a nasty sack of ELi Manning. A missed field goal.
There was a whole lot of not good on Sunday. I'm going to try and put it in some perspective just how AWFUL the past 2 1/2 seasons have been for the New York Giants.
In the past 2 seasons, the Giants have had 2 runs with at least 6 straight losses.
The QBR of Eli Manning has a swing of about 30 points, heading south, from the first half to the second.
Dave Brown was rated as the 11th worst quarterback in NFL history last year by Complex Magazine.
In Dave's 3 seasons as QB for the Giants, he amassed a record of 20-27 over 3 seasons. That's a win/loss percentage of about 42.55%. The Giants, with a two time Super Bowl MVP, have run a 19-24 record over the past 3 seasons, for a win/loss percentage of just over 44%. Less than 2 percentage points separate the records of Dave Brown and Eli Manning, at least over the past 3 seasons.
Let that sink in a little.
It's that bad.
