NY Man Stands Accused of Lewd Act During 'The Emoji Movie,' Authorities Even More Shocked Anyone Paid to See That Film

The Emoji Movie was released last week and to say the reviews have been bad would be an understatement.

The film has been absolutely destroyed by critics with some even calling it the worst animated movie of all time. Ouch. The Emoji Movie currently holds a 6% approval rating on RottenTomatoes

On the other hand, there seems to be one guy out there who enjoyed it. News 12 New Jersey is reporting that a Brooklyn man turned himself in Wednesday evening after being being identified by police.

News 12 says that the man was seen at a showing of The Emoji Movie at the Xscape movie theater in Howell, New Jersey with his hands down his pants. A woman told a manager that the emoji pervert's pants were unbuttoned and unzipped.

The theater manager asked the man to leave. Howell police had released a photo of the man, who was described as heavyset and in his 20s or 30s.

He's been charged with lewdness and was issued a summons and then released.
