An Orange County man currently on parole is in trouble with the law, again, for allegedly selling heroin.

As part of a surveillance operation on Ball Street in Port Jervis, Port Jervis detectives arrested 29-year-old Tyrone Dunbar of Port Jervis after a search warrant allegedly produced a large amount of heroin.

Dunbar possessed seized heroin, with the intent to sell, police say. On Friday, Dunbar was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony.

At the time of his arrest, he was under parole supervision until Oct. 2017 for a May 2015 conviction for attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Dunbar was arraigned in Port Jervis City Court and was remanded to the custody of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office without bail.
