Munchkin is recalling over 180,000 pacifiers because of a potential chocking hazard. According to CNN.com, the reason behind the recall is a little plastic cover on the Latch lightweight pacifiers can accidentally detach. While no injuries have been reported, the company reports ten instances where this cover piece has detached (5 in the United States and 5 in Canada).

The pacifiers were sold for the cost of $11-$15 at Babies "R" Us, Target, Walmart and other locations, including Amazon.com.

Parents can either return the item to place of purchase for a refund or contact Munchkin directly for the refund or the replacement, 1-877-242-3134 or www.munchkin.com
