Peachtopia Unveils Its Peaches Upon The Hudson Valley

"I can eat a peach for hours," Nicolas Cage claims in the movie Face/Off. That being the case, he'd probably love Peachtopia, which is happening on Saturday, August 12th at Fishkill Farms. 

It's the height of the summer harvest and Fishkill Farms has a bounty of juicy peaches and nectarines to pick. They'll be celebrating with live music from the Tin Pan Band, a full peach-based menu, and by opening the Treasury Cider Garden. The Garden will be serving the farm's own ciders, plus some selections from Millbrook winery and the Newburgh Brewing Company, so everyone can walk away happy.

Now you may be asking, "Mike, did you report on this story just so you can quote Face/Off at the beginning of your article?" Of course not! This seems like a great event, peaches are delicious, and all you had to do was tell me there would be alcohol and I would probably go.

...But I also wanted to quote Face/Off, so I guess it's a win-win for everyone involved. Especially Nicolas Cage.
