You might want to check your package of frozen chicken nuggets just in case. Thrillist is reporting that Perdue Foods has issued a nationwide recall of over 68,000 pounds of gluten free, ready-to-eat chicken nuggets after some customers claim they found pieces of wood in their nuggets. (huh huh)

The FDA's website says the nuggets were produced October 25, and have a "best by" date  of October 25, 2019. People.com reports that Perdue has received three complaints from consumers who say they found wood. Customers are being told not to eat the chicken nuggets for fear they may get wood too.

So far no one has been injured by the wood.

Since the packages were shipped nationwide, there's a chance some of the contaminated products have made their way to New York, and possibly the Hudson Valley.
