Could there be more jobs coming to the Hudson Valley? The Times Herald Record reports that AmerisourceBergen, which is one of the nation's largest pharmaceutical sourcing and distribution companies plans an almost $40 million center in the Town of Newburgh.

Sources say that the plans for the new plant will provide 121 jobs.

Thirty five percent of all pharmaceuticals sold in the country are handled by AmerisourceBergen’s network, according to the Times Herald Record. Empire State Development will provide AmerisourceBergen with $1 million in performance-based job and tax credits. The Governor’s Office says that AmerisourceBergen will maintain its Newburgh workforce through at least 2025.
