The pleasant weather continues for the Hudson Valley as Canadian high pressure continues to dominate Tuesday’s weather.  Temperatures will be slightly below normal with lower humidity.  The next time the Hudson Valley will see wet weather is Wednesday afternoon and Thursday.

A warm front, as the comes in expect showers and thunderstorms along the front.  Following that, expect a heatwave.  Hot and humid weather begins Friday and continues into the weekend.

Here's the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tuesday:  Sunny, high near 79.  Light breeze out the southwest.

Tuesday night:  Mostly clear, low around 57.  Slight breeze out of the south.

Wednesday:  Partly sunny, high near 80.  A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Thursday:  Showers expected, maybe a thunderstorm before 2pm.  Otherwise, mostly cloudy, high 82.

Friday:  Sunny and hot, high near 90

Saturday:  Mostly sunny, hot, high 93.

Sunday:  Mostly sunny, hot, high 95.

This warming trend will continue through July 4, 2018.
