3 Teenagers were arrested on felony drug charges after police say they found an assortment of drugs in a car pulled over in Dutchess County.

New York State Police from Poughkeepsie patrolling the Taconic State Parkway observed a blue Jeep traveling northbound at 75 miles per hour and conducted a traffic stop in the area of Hollow Road.

During the stop police say they smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. While waiting for another officer to arrive on the scene, the investigated officer discovered the car’s registration was expired.

Later authorities allegedly discovered the vehicle's occupants were in possession of forged identification, marijuana wax, psilocybin mushrooms, LSD blotter paper, Ecstasy, liquid LSD, and alcohol

The driver, Matthew M. Dinucci,19, of Ridgefield, Connecticut was charged with 2nd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 4th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 5th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a forged instrument, all felonies, unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and unlawful possession of alcohol by a person under 21-years of age.

The front seat passenger, 19-year-old Alexander J. Hamill, of Stamford, Connecticut, was charged 2nd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 4th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies, unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and unlawful possession of alcohol by a person under 21-years of age.

A rear seated passenger, 18-year-old Alexander I. Redmond, also from Connecticut was charged with 2nd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 4th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 5th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a forged instrument, all felonies, 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanors, unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, and unlawful possession of alcohol by a person under 21-years of age.

All three were arraigned in the Pleasant Valley Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.

State Police were assisted by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Department and their K9 “Max”.
