A Hudson Valley teen is facing felony charges for allegedly setting a home on fire.

On Wednesday, Liberty police arrested an 18-year-old Liberty man for third-degree arson, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

During a dispute, the teen caused damage to a home and set fire to the floor, police say. Authorities didn’t say if the teen lived in the home.

The 18-year-old was remanded to Sullivan County Jail on $10,000 bail. He’s due back in court on December 6. His name has not been released due to his potential eligibility for youthful offender status, Liberty police said in a press release.
