A Putnam County man is accused of selling heroin, on a number of occasions, to undercover cops.

In February, a deputy assigned to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit developed information that a man was selling heroin from his home in Southeast.

The deputy was able to contact the suspect and allegedly purchased heroin from him on several occasions during the next several months.

Last week police executed a search warrant at 38-year-old’s Jason Inconstanti’s Southeast home and took him into custody.

Inconstanti, was charged with four counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, all felonies.

He was arraigned before Town of Southeast Court and committed to the Putnam County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Inconstanti face up to 25 years in prison if found guilty.
