A marihuana grow operation has been shut down in Orange County after a three month investigation.

On Thursday New York State Police along with various aiding law enforcement agencies conducted a raid on a home in the town of Minisink. Police executed the search at 103 Cash Road after receiving several reports of unusual and suspicious activity.

Police say approximately 340 marihuana plants, several pieces of equipment used to grow the plants, and approximately $2,500 were seized.  Also secured was 11 pounds of processed marihuana, valued at $27,000.

Arrested in the home was 29 year-old Isaac Lugo. The Warwick resident was charged with Felony of Criminal Possession of Marihuana 1st. Police say the investigation is still on going and future arrests are anticipated.

New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, Troopers from Troop F Greenville, officers from the Town of Warwick Police Department and the Orange County District Attorney's Office all aided in the investigation and the execution of the search warrants.
