Moments after an Ulster County man was released from prison for drug related charges, he was arrested again on more drug charges.

On July 12, Jamie T. Marryshow 31, of Hurley, was arrested when he was allegedly spotted during a heroin drug deal in the parking lot of a gas station on Lucas Avenue in the Town of Ulster.

Police say as they approached the people involved, Marryshow fled on foot. He was captured in the back yard of a nearby residence after a brief chase. Heroin and a hypodermic needle discarded by Marryshow while fleeing was recovered, authorities say.

Marryshow was charged with tampering with physical evidence, a felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, loitering, and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, misdemeanors.

Marryshow was released from the Ulster County Jail on Monday. That evening he was rearrested and charged with the felonies of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and 3rd-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Marryshow was arraigned on the new charges in the Town of Esopus Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 secured bond.
