There are 23 states where medical marijuana is legal, but what about pot for your pets? An Arizona company is looking into that very thing right now. Stephen Shearin is the president of American Green, which is touted as the first publicly traded marijuana company. Nevada lawmakers are currently debating a bill that would allow veterinarians to prescribe pot to older and sick pets. Unlike marijuana for people,Stephens version for pets does not contain THC, which is the drug attributed with pot's high. It would instead be made from hemp and contain CBD, which alleviates pain.
