An incident involving Catfish & The Bottlemen's American Airlines flight out of Manchester, England has resulted in the cancellation of their Saturday Hudson Valley performance.

The Daily Mail reports the 10:23 A.M. flight was over the Irish Sea east of Dublin when they turned around and landed back in England just before 11:30. A 'maintenance issue' was cited for the emergency landing and as a result passengers were rebooked on other flights. There's no way the band can get here in time unfortunately.

The band is still coming stateside to kick off a tour on Tuesday 5/2 at Upstate Music Hall in Albany. On Saturday 5/6 they'll be in Brooklyn for a show at Brooklyn Steel. You may recognize their most recent songs '7' and 'Soundcheck' from their album The Ride.

WRRV is still planning to be at Darkside Records tomorrow from 4-6 so while the band won't be there, we'll be giving away a pair of passes to the upcoming Jimmy Eat World performance at WRRV Sessions.
