New R.E.M. Rarities Released On Vinyl
R.E.M. is giving their fans a reason to buy a new record player, just in time for Christmas. Here's the info:
R.E.M. fans looking to add to their collection are getting an early Christmas present. Capitol and I.R.S. Records have released a vinyl box set featuring seven-inch versions of the singles the band put out between 1983 and 1988. All of the records in "7 IN - 83-88" come with replicas of the original picture sleeves, and two will be available for the first time in the U.S. "Finest Worksong" backed with a live version of "Time After Time," and a double single featuring "Wendell Gee," "Crazy," "Ages of You," and "Burning Down" were originally only released in the U.K.
