Rob Zombie, Duff McKagan And Steve Jones Lead Johnny Ramone Tribute Lineup

Rob Zombie is one the artists participating in the upcoming Johnny Ramone tribute concert. The late guitarist's wife Linda Ramone set up the event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ramone's passing. A slew of musicians have signed on including Duff McKagan and Steve Jones.Zombie will be hosting a screening of his movie, The Devil's Rejects, and playing Ramones covers in an all-star band alongside McKagan and Jones. Portlandia's Fred Armisen and Metallica's Kirk Hammett will also be in attendance at the event.

"The Ramones were the great American rock band of our time," says Zombie. "Endlessly copied but never equaled."

The Johnny Ramone tribute will take place at Los Angeles' Hollywood Forever Cemetery and is scheduled for August 24. More info:
