February started off with spring-like temperatures in the Hudson Valley, as the thermometer climbed into the mid- to upper-50s on Monday.

Tuesday is looking slightly cooler across the Hudson Valley, though that isn't expected to last for long.

The forecast is calling for record warmth by the middle of the week as another storm system moves towards to the Eastern Seaboard. Heavy rain could fall all along the east coast by Wednesday afternoon.

AccuWeather says that rainfall amounts could range from half an inch to an inch and a half from the Gulf Coast to New England.

Once the cold front has moved through however, temperatures are expected to be closer to normal by late week. Highs in the Hudson Valley are expected to be in the 30s for Thursday and Friday.
