A Rhinebeck woman was arrested and charged with stalking.

New York State Police from Rhinebeck charged the 52-year-old with 4th-degree stalking, a class B misdemeanor.

State Police were contacted by a Rhinebeck woman who stated that on several occasions, the woman charged made her fear for her personal safety.

Authorities say the woman was advised by State Police to stop all contact with the individual. Despite the warnings, she allegedly continued to display harassing behavior around the victim, which scared the victim, police say.

The woman was arraigned in Town of Rhinebeck Court and released on her own recognizance. She was due to reappear in court on May 12. Charges were later disposed of, according to court documentation presented to Hudson Valley Post..
