Social media ruins everything. Really, it does. It's the greatest and worst thing that's been invented in a very, very long time. For every opportunity it provides people who, say, need to stay in touch with a loved one who is near an earthquake or something, it costs another person a job because they weren't capable of just shutting it down and keeping their mouths shut on the Facebooks or the Twitters.

Not to mention all of the horrors that we've been exposed to with regard to our aunts, uncles, grandparents, and high school friends sharing whatever loony sociopolitical thoughts pop into their heads that we'd be better off not knowing.

But none of us, hopefully anyway, has as bad an experience with social media as the individual in this story. Give it a listen and then ponder the ramifications of social media in your life.
