The holiday season is kicking off this weekend and if you'd like to bring your kids to see Santa, find one-of-a-kind gifts, and take in a holiday film, you can do all of that and more at the 8th Annual Holiday Market at Bethel Woods.

The Event gallery and Market Sheds will put you in the holiday spirit with artists, crafters, and specialty food vendors displaying a wide variety of handmade, unique, and tasty gift ideas.

Santa and his elves will be available for a visit and pictures from 1-3, plus you and your family can create some art in the Event gallery. There will be live performances by the Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop as well as live tasting and cooking demos with Executive Chef Armand Vanderstigchel and Executive Sous Chef Carl Venezianio, featuring holiday foods and cooking tips.

They are also asking families to bring a new unwrapped toy for Hudson Valley Toys for Tots. If a holiday movie sounds good this weekend, you can see either 'Home Alone' or 'Home Alone 2' in the museum theater at 4. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children.

Bring in the holiday season with lots of family fun this weekend at Bethel Woods.
