Scorpion. The show. Is just plain terrible.

Gosh did I want this show to be good. I love the concept. I like the fact that Finch from the American Pie movies is in the show as a card counting PHD who can read people like a book. I like the fact that the scary dude from T2 is in it. And Katharine McPhee ain't exactly harsh on the eyes.

But oh my GOD is that a tough show to watch. The dialogue is so forced. The tension is fake, the ANGST shown by the main character is so torturously portayed that it seems like he hates being on the shown. Seriously, why is that dude's lower lip ALWAYS CLENCHED?!?!

It's just so contrived, and none of the characters actually seem to be the people they're supposed to be. The human calculator, who hates money, but can communicate just perfectly with anyone who he happens to spend all of 5 minutes with? Don't we all expect THAT character to be difficult FOREVER?

I wanted to like it. I really did.

And I already can't stand it.

Who's with me? Better who, what other shows have you guys been TOTALLY psyched for and been let down on a level that rivals asking for a bike for christmas and getting a metric ton of white tube socks instead?
