Select Arby’s To Serve Venison

If you are a hunter, who goes out every year hunting venison, you might already be aware of how tasty it can be. This is exactly what Arby's is betting on, that you or someone else just might have a craving for a venison sandwich.

The test market for this unique idea is limited to six different states, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Georgia. The trial will begin on October 31, 2016 and be available at limited stores through November 28, 2016.  According to a press release, the above states are being used as a test market because Arby's feels that they are popular hunting states, and hunters like venison.

The sandwich will consist of thick cut venison steaks with crispy onions on a roll, topped with a juniper berry sauce. The venison itself will be marinated in garlic and salt & pepper, then slowly cooked for three hours.
