Sesame Street Got WHAT Reference Onto An Episode?

I gotta tell ya. As a dad of a rather maniacal 2 year old, some of the only respite I get during the day is Sesame Street. My personal whirlwind sings along, dances, whatever, and I get to drink a cup of coffee.

Sometimes the references they sneak in are obviously just for the parents, but this one just about knocked my socks off.

Game of Thrones. I wish I could have been in the writers room when someone brought this idea up.

There are dragons, yes. But not Red Wedding scene.

It's all a spoof, called Game of Chairs.

Kudos, Sesame Street. I had to clean up my coffee after seeing this one.
