If you have recently used the Bank of America ATM in the Wallkill Town Center in Middletown, you better check your online statements.  The ATM was found to have a card "skimming" device attached to the machine.  Time Warner Cable News reports that state police were sent to the ATM around 2 in the afternoon on Thursday after someone complained that the ATM was not functioning properly.

Police say that besides the skimmer, they also found a hidden camera on top of the keypad that was letting the criminal see what the person's pin number was with the card associated with that person's account number.  This is one of the busiest ATM's in the area because it is a drive up ATM.

If you used the ATM recently and believe your identity has been compromised, you should contact your bank.  Police do not know how long the devices have been attached to the ATM.
