It was quite cold on Sunday, but we’ll try to warm it up on Monday.  Plenty of sunshine for Monday with temps reaching near 50.  We’ll also lose most of the wind.  High pressure will remain in control of the weather for the Hudson Valley.  That means a dry Monday.

The next chance of wet weather comes our way Tuesday, with a low-pressure system approaching from the Great Lakes.  It won’t be a total washout and we will still keep sunny skies in our forecast from Tuesday and Wednesday.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Monday:  Mostly sunny, high near 51.  A light Southwest winds.

Monday night:  Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40.  A light Southwest winds.

Tuesday:  Partly sunny.  High near 54.  A chance of showers.

Tuesday Night:  A slight chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 39.

Wednesday:  Mostly sunny, with a high near 51.

Thursday:  Sunny, with a high near 45.
