The Smashing Pumpkins are set to play a few gigs next month in New York.

Tickets are on-sale now for the band's Plainsong tour which will span 15 states across the United States this spring. Three of their twenty shows will be right here in New York at the Beacon theater April 4th, 5th and 6th.

There has been a bit of controversy lately over lead singer Billy Corgan's strange and interesting actions. Writing an over a thousand page memoir, popping up at random radio stations across the country, defending Marilyn Manson's manhood and now the singer is on a cross-country album writing road trip making a documentary.

Who know's what Corgan's plans are,  maybe it's to get viewers for the documentary or to create interest for the new album. Either way we can benefit form Corgan's corky plans along the way.

Be sure to grab those tickets!
