Smorgasburg has six weekends planned for their Kingston location starting in May.

According to Hudson Valley One, the popular Smorgasburg Upstate is coming back to Kingston this year with a few changes.

The location will stay the same, Hutton Brickyards in Kingston, but it looks like the food and flea market will move to one weekend a month instead of every weekend like last year.

Smorgasburg has six weekends planned starting the weekend of May 21-22 and will end on the weekend of October 21-22 and will feature some of the Hudson Valley most exciting chefs, craft brewers and a selection of handmade design, vintage clothing and antiques. As they did last year, it will also include family friendly music and activities for children.

All Smorgasburg Upstate’s 2017 dates are Saturdays and Sundays. The dates are May 20-21, June 17-18, July 15-16, August 19-20, September 16-17, and October 21-22.

The markets co-founder Jonathan Butler told Hudson Valley One that in 2017 they had some things to work on,

“In the coming months, our focus will be on expanding the range of attractions on market days as well as broadening our marketing reach in the region. If there was one mistake we made this year it was taking our foot off the marketing gas after the overwhelming response on opening day.”
